That means every move here needs a quick call ahead to check for road closures, construction equipment blocking a shared driveway, or a street that's one lane while a neighboring lot pours its foundation. We build that check into scheduling as a matter of course, not an afterthought.

Many of the families we move into Paradise today are moving for the first time since 2018—into a new build that finally cleared inspection, often on a compressed insurance or builder's-warranty timeline. We know this isn't a routine relocation for most of these households, and our crews approach it accordingly: careful, unhurried unpacking, patience with a driveway that's still being finished, and flexibility if a closing date shifts by a few days. We've learned to coordinate around active construction schedules, water-district hookups still being finalized, and the crews and equipment that still pass through parts of the ridge—all without adding stress to a family that's already been through enough. For households still splitting time between a rental in Chico and a rebuild in Paradise, we've also handled the short moves down the ridge during construction, followed by the final move back once the home is ready.

Paradise is also drawing new residents who never lived here before the fire—retirees and families attracted by lower land costs, larger lots, and the quieter, tree-shaded feel the ridge is known for, along with modern, fire-hardened new construction built to current defensible-space standards. Magalia and Forest Ranch, just north and east, share the same access roads and rural character, and we serve both as part of the same Paradise route.
